Update

Wow....... sorry I haven't been keeping this thing updated.  My bad :)  

I'm not even sure what to talk about.  I always feel like I have to make up for the period of time that I missed, which would be a month's worth of info., and that just sounds like too much work for you and for me.  I will, however, try to think of brief updates.

I'm working full-time as an EDGEr.  Classes have started and it's amazingly fun and exciting seeing returning students and building relationships with new students and having at least a little bit of time to hang out with them.  I'm still fundraising and actually had another face-to-face this afternoon that went really well.  It's always encouraging to talk to other missionaries (or people who have spent most of their time as missionaries), because they know what you're going through!!  I'm up to 50% now (technically 49%) and am still chuggin' along---very slowly though.  The Briners and I are hoping that our fundraising banquet brings in more support which is in a few weekends.  I'm kind of running out of contacts and need God to bring in the rest, but I praise Him for being so faithful!!!

I'm working on sending out my first newsletter.  Ideally they would be sent out sometime in October but there are donors who haven't heard from me in at least 2 months which I feel horrible about.  Plus Eric has encouraged me to do so rather quickly.  (hopefully before the banquet)

I'm loving my new room (I moved down to the basement).  It's still incredibly dirty and unorganized but the parts that are put together look really good.  

I'm still trying to get the hang of my 'work hours' which are just confusing and undefined.  Hanging out with students is a lot of work, but who punches in how much time you spend doing that, then I just have a lot of other things to do (fundraising, small group training, dealing with the repentance theme, studying the Word, contacting people.....)

Well, I'm going to leave it at that.  There's still a bunch going on in my life and I'll try to integrate blogging into that haphazard mess.
